The latest annual Isuzu Truck Parts Dealer of the Year Award has been won by Cordwallis Isuzu Heathrow, with Thompson Commercials from Newcastle upon Tyne taking the coveted runners up spot.
To meet the challenge of its changing distribution patterns, whilst also increasing journey time productivity, South West company Charles Saunders Food Service Ltd recently made the switch from 7.5 tonne to 11 tonne delivery vehicles, with the addition of ten new Isuzu Forward 11 tonne rigids into its 35 strong refrigerated transport fleet.
When arboricultural specialists Woodmen UK Ltd needed to replace an incumbent fleet vehicle, the North Wales company specified a new 17-plate Isuzu Grafter 3.5 tonne rigid to work on its expanding range of tree maintenance, tree surgery and woodland management contracts for commercial, domestic and industrial customers.
As part of a rolling fleet replacement programme over the past three years, St Austell Brewery has introduced 10 new Isuzu 7.5tonne rigids into its regional distribution fleet during that time. With the latest addition of the four new Isuzu Forward 7.5 tonners, there are now 20 Isuzu trucks in total operating under the colours of St Austell Brewery.
Orkney based shipbrokers and stevedores John Jolly has recently taken delivery of its first ever Isuzu truck with a 3.5 tonne Isuzu Grafter joining the company’s transport fleet operating out of Kirkwall, providing a vital ship stores transfer service as part of their contract with Serco Northlink Ferries.
