Longevity, payload and compact vehicle footprint were the main criteria behind Yeovil based Darch Oil replacing an incumbent specialist oil tanker with their first ever Isuzu chassis. The newly acquired Isuzu Forward F110.240 11tonne rigid truck has been fitted with a 7,000 litre dual compartment Magyar tank body for the distribution of kerosene, derv and gas oil to customers in remote locations throughout the south-west.
As part of a £1.2 million project to establish an in-house operational jetting team at Yorkshire Water, four new 7.5 tonne Isuzu Rioned Flexcom combi trucks have joined the company’s 14 strong vehicle fleet that has been developed to respond to, investigate and resolve sewer network pollution incidents throughout Yorkshire.
The increasing popularity of the compact Rioned Jet-Vac combination units mounted on 7.5 tonne Isuzu truck chassis is reflected by the growing number of such vehicles that have gone into service with drainage contractors and utility companies here in the UK in recent times.
With the arrival of its third Isuzu Grafter 3.5 tonne truck, Champfleurie Estates now operates an all-Isuzu distribution fleet delivering bagged firewood and other home produced timber products to customers within a 25 mile radius of the historic 15th century estate in Linlithgow, West Lothian.
As part of its planned expansion programme for its UK dealer network, commercial vehicle manufacturer Isuzu Truck UK has appointed a new and experienced service dealer in Northampton. Wrights Commercials, based on the outskirts of the town, has teamed up with Peterborough-based Imperial Commercials, who took over the area’s main Isuzu Truck franchise in early 2016.
